CURRENTLY NO LABOR & DELIVERY AT CALDWELL - October 2021
No visitors will be allowed in the inpatient areas, outpatient areas, or Emergency Departments at UNC Health
Only one visitor is allowed for a laboring mother
No additional support persons (such as doulas)
Any visitors who are allowed must pass a health screening beforehand
Patients are now required to wear masks when leaving their rooms and when any visitors enter their rooms
Mom and visitor are required to wear masks when the nurse is providing care
Visitors are not allowed for outpatient clinics
Mom and dad can both be with the baby in the nursing room
Childbirth classes and tours have been postponed at the moment
